Company Profile
Your company profile is the source of truth for how Attendara identifies your business. The name and contact details you enter here appear in notification templates and on the customer-facing confirmation page.
Accessing company profile settings
Go to Settings → Preferences. The Company Profile section is at the top of the page.
Company name
Your company name is used in the {{BUSINESSNAME}} template variable, which appears in all notification emails and SMS messages. Customers see this as the sender identity.
Example: "Your appointment with Bright Smile Dental is confirmed for Tuesday at 3pm."
Company email
The company email is the reply-to address on all notification emails. When a customer replies to a notification email, their reply goes to this address. This is typically your business email or a shared inbox.
Notification email
The notification email is where Attendara sends internal alerts — for example, when a customer cancels an appointment or when an appointment has an error. This can be the same as the company email or a different address (e.g. your personal email).
Country
Setting your country ensures phone numbers without a country code are formatted correctly for SMS delivery. For example, if your country is United Kingdom and a customer's phone is stored as 07700 900123, Attendara will automatically prefix it with +44.
Review link
The review link is a URL to your business's review page — for example, a Google Maps review page or a Trustpilot profile. Once set, it becomes available as the {{REVIEWLINK}} template variable and you can include it in post-appointment notification templates to encourage customers to leave a review.
Example: "Enjoyed your visit? We'd love a review: {{REVIEWLINK}}"
Language
The default language for Attendara's interface and for notification templates. This language is used when sending notifications to customers who don't have a specific language preference set on their profile. See Timezone & Language.
Customer communication consent
Attendara requires your explicit consent to send communications to your customers on your behalf. The Notifications section of the Preferences page shows the current consent status:
- Consent given — A green tick and the date you gave consent are displayed. Attendara is permitted to send notifications.
- Consent not yet given — A warning is shown and a Give consent button is displayed. Clicking it opens a dialog where you can review and accept the terms. Until consent is given, notifications cannot be sent.
If you need to give consent, go to Settings → Preferences → Notifications and click Give consent.
Saving changes
Changes to your company profile take effect immediately. Notifications already queued will use the values that were set when they were scheduled. New notifications will use the updated values.
