What is Attendara?
Attendara is an automated appointment reminder and confirmation system that connects to your existing calendar. It monitors your events, extracts customer information, sends timely notifications by email or SMS, and collects confirmations — all without you lifting a finger after the initial setup.
How it works
- Connect your calendar — Authorise Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook with one click. You keep creating events exactly as you always have.
- Attendara detects new appointments — The moment you add an event, Attendara reads the title, reads the customer's details from the event description, and creates an appointment record.
- Notifications are sent automatically — Based on the rules you configure once, Attendara sends confirmation requests, reminders, and follow-ups at the right time.
- Customers respond — Every notification includes a personal link where customers can confirm, cancel, or view their appointment. Their reply is reflected in your calendar immediately.
Key concepts
Appointments
Each calendar event with a customer becomes an Attendara appointment. Attendara tracks its status (pending, confirmed, cancelled) and notification history.
Notification Rules
Rules define when to send a message and what to say. For example: "Send a reminder email 24 hours before the appointment."
Customers
Attendara builds a customer database automatically from your calendar events. Each customer has their own contact details, communication preferences, and appointment history.
Calendar Sync
Changes in your calendar — new events, reschedules, cancellations — are picked up in real time via webhooks. You never need to manually sync.
Supported calendars
- Google Calendar — Full integration with real-time sync, colour-coded statuses, and all calendar features.
- Microsoft Outlook / 365 — Full integration with real-time sync, category-based status indicators.
